There is no Metro 2036, 2037, or 2038

Metro 2036, Metro 2037, and Metro 2038 are not games and not Dmitry Glukhovsky novels. His Metro novels are 2033, 2034, and 2035. The games jump from Exodus and Awakening to Metro 2039. A search for those in-between years is a wrong number, not a lost sequel.

I checked the official books page, which stops at the trilogy, and the series list we use for the order guide. I did not find a publisher page for 2036, 2037, or 2038. I also did not find a quote from Glukhovsky announcing a book with one of those years, so I will not invent one. Nearby misses — Metro 2023, 2029, 2049, 3039 — are the same kind of typo.

Numbers that are real

2034 is a book, not the second game. The second game is Last Light. 2035 is the third novel. People also land here from “metro 2023”, which is not this series’ release.
