PC requirements are not announced
Metro 2039 does not have official PC system requirements yet. On 16 October 2026 the Steam requirements block for app 2590240 was a blank template: 64-bit Windows is mentioned, and the OS, processor, and graphics fields are empty. Anyone quoting a 3060 Ti minimum is guessing.
I opened the Steam pc_requirements HTML rather than a spec roundup. Minimum and recommended both stop at “Windows Compatible Audio Device” plus empty CPU and GPU lines. PlayStation.Blog’s September 2026 note says technical specs and modes will be detailed in the months before release. That matches the empty box. I am not promoting the Exodus numbers into a 2039 minimum.
The empty Steam template
A blank field is information. It means 4A has not signed off a minimum. Storage size, Steam Deck status, and whether a ray-tracing GPU is required on PC are in that same unpublished bucket.
| Item | Metro 2039 | Metro Exodus (older game, not a 2039 spec) |

| CPU | Not stated | Minimum i5-4440 class; recommended i7-4770K class |
| RAM | Not stated | 8 GB on the Exodus minimum and recommended rows |
| GPU | Not stated | Exodus minimum cited GTX 670 / 1050 / HD 7870 class |
| Install size | Not stated | Exodus listed about 59 GB |
| Ray tracing | Console performance mode uses it; PC requirement unknown | Enhanced Edition asked for an RTX or RDNA card |
Why Exodus is only a reference
Metro Exodus launched in 2019. Its Enhanced Edition in 2021 added a ray-traced path. 4A has said 2039 is the first game in the series built around ray tracing from the start, which is a reason not to copy the 2019 minimum forward. The engine notes are on the 4A Engine page.
Questions
Will a GTX 3060 Ti run Metro 2039?
Unknown. No official GPU list exists, so a 3060 Ti answer would be a guess.
Is Metro 2039 Steam Deck verified?
Not announced.
When will specs land?
Deep Silver and PlayStation.Blog pointed at the months before the 4 February 2027 release, without a calendar day.
